part-time health policy intern/analyst

Responsibilities

Conduct internet-based research and analysis of Medicare policies related to coverage, coding and payment - primarily for hospitals and physician offices. Review complex federal regulations and guidelines, assist with production of written reports, and issue briefs on related topics.

Required Skills & Strengths

Ability to:

• Review & analyze complex regulatory policies
• Suggest policy implications

Proven competence in:

• Gathering, processing & synthesizing information from multiple sources
• Written communication
• Web research, spreadsheets

Familiarity with statistical data & data analysis

Required Education
Current graduate student in health administration & policy. Prefer a second year student.
