With expertise in both medical diagnostics and professional development, Barbara designs and delivers all accreditation preparation and other training programs we offer.

An engaging and effective classroom instructor, Barbara brings significant first-hand knowledge of echocardiography practices and quality assurance standards to every accreditation program.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Barbara has more than 20 years of cardiac ultrasound experience – in clinical settings, as well as in marketing and education. As a medical educator, she developed curricula and materials for diagnostic ultrasound schools, and initiated one of the first certified echocardiography training programs in Los Angeles. She also has developed and implemented diagnostic service programs for hospitals, physician practices and imaging centers.

CREDENTIALS
Registered in adult and pediatric echocardiography, Barbara is also a Certified Consultant for MAPP™ – a respected and widely used professional development tool. She earned a California teaching credential from UCLA and completed graduate courses in instructional design at USC.
