ROLE
As JR Associates’ business visionary and primary spokesperson, Judy has led the firm’s 10-year expansion from an ultrasound coding boutique to its current position as a full-service reimbursement solution provider. She spearheads all consulting engagements, defines training standards and oversees editorial direction for all publications.

STRENGTHS
A highly respected reimbursement strategist, Judy is a perceptive and pragmatic interpreter of health plan payor policies and regulations. Her perspective is shaped by years of administrative skill she gained while managing and owning healthcare organizations, in addition to clinical knowledge she acquired as a cardiac sonographer early in her career.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Prior to founding JR Associates, Judy founded and was vice president of a multi-million-dollar company focused on mobile cardiovascular, ultrasound and general imaging diagnostics. She managed a regional delivery network of mobile units, independent imaging centers and in-house hospital/clinic management services.

CREDENTIALS
A fellow and executive board member of the American Society of Echocardiography, Judy also is a former board member of the American Heart Association/Los Angeles, and is a past president of Women in Health Administration (an affiliate of the American College of Healthcare Executives). She earned certification in executive management from UCLA, and is a registered adult and pediatric cardiac sonographer.
