ROLE
Susana provides technical direction for all of our customized vascular training and accreditation preparation programs, ensuring that curricula and materials are current and reflect appropriate standards. As an advocate of quality patient care, Susana translates her convictions into the design of every program.

STRENGTHS
Susana is a patient and articulate instructor who aims to provide students with a sound knowledge base to support competent decisions. Because she has both technical and management experience, she understands students’ needs as well as administrative goals.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Susana has more than a decade of experience as a vascular technologist at various healthcare facilities – most recently serving as the Clinical Director of cardiovascular diagnostic services at USC University Hospital. Previously, she expanded the vascular labs at St. Luke's and Chapman Medical Centers. Throughout her career, she has participated in research projects, published articles, and championed accreditation efforts for numerous hospitals.

CREDENTIALS
A registered vascular technologist, Susana also earned a BS in biology from Loyola Marymount University. She is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the Society of Vascular Ultrasound and the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers with Vascular Technology Advanced Practice Sonographer status.
